Each class offers something new and challenging for you each week as no two classes are the same. A regular Yogalates session will include Yoga and Pilates exercises and poses (asana) to cultivate strength, tone, stamina, stability and flexibility with particular attention paid to building tone in the deeper postural “core” muscles as well as focusing on toning the arms, thighs and hip area.
Yoga and Pilates Equipment such as blocks, resistance bands (which replicate the resistance training of the Pilates machines), light weights and Pilates Rings are used to further enhance strength and tone in all areas.
HIIT Yogalates is exactly what it sounds like: A yoga / Pilates session and a HIIT class rolled into one. The class is structured with a combination of high-intensity, cardio-based flows that will get your heart pumping and your muscles working, and slow-flow stretches to relieve any tension. It is the best way to get your daily dose of strength training, cardio and stretching. You will feel stronger, more limber and totally energised by the time you are finished.
**The Tuesday night Yogalates / HIIT Classes alternate between Yogalates Class one week and the next week Yogalates HIIT. Monday night classes are only Yogalates.
